The Origin of Super Bock Flavors
A tradition that honours time, ingredients, and flavour.
On this page, we show you, step by step, how we turn raw ingredients into unforgettable moments, at the table, at the bar, or shared with friends.

STAGE 1
Milling
The type of grain is selected according to the beer we want to produce, then it’s placed in the mill so it can be ground.

STAGE 2
Mashing and brewing
In the mashing vessel, water is added to the milled malt. Then comes the brewing phase — mixing these components at the right temperature to activate specific enzymes. This is where the sugars present in the grains are extracted.

STAGE 3
Filtration
All the grain husks are filtered out to obtain a clear liquid. It’s at this stage that the wort begins to take on a colour close to its final shade.

STAGE 4
Boiling
The liquid then moves to the boiling kettle, it’s all still wort at this point. It only becomes beer during fermentation. As the temperature rises, hops are added. The earlier the hops go in, the more bitterness they contribute; the later they’re added, the more their aromas come through in the final beer.

STAGE 5
Cooling
The wort is cooled down to create the ideal conditions for the yeast — the right temperature, nutrients, and pH. Yeast is the key agent that makes beer possible. The cooling temperature varies depending on the type of beer we want to produce.

STAGE 6
Fermentation
Yeast is added, and it begins fermenting, converting the sugars into alcohol and CO₂. Fermentation lasts between five and nine days, depending on the type of beer being produced. From this moment on, we can finally call this liquid beer.

STAGE 7
Maturation
This is the stage where the beer stabilises and its flavour is refined. It’s also when dry hopping can take place, adding hops later on through a cold infusion, which helps preserve and intensify their aromatic notes.

STAGE 8
Final filtration
The beer is clarified and any remaining particles are removed, giving it a clearer, brighter, and more appealing look.

STAGE 9
Filling
To preserve all its characteristics, the beer is transferred into bottles or kegs and then sent out to points of sale.
